Nissan Versa Miles Per Gallon & Performance
The Nissan Versa comes standard with a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Drivers can opt for the Xtronic® Continuously Variable Transmission for a smoother and less hands-on performance. The Versa can deliver 109 horsepower and 107 lb-ft of torque while achieving an EPA-estimated 22/36/30 MPG city/highway/combined1, but if you opt for the CVT, the Nissan Versa miles per gallon boosts to 31/39/34 city/highway/combined1, according to EPA estimates.
Interior Entertainment & Technology Features
The Versa sedan is equipped with some pretty fun features within its cabin. These features include the 7-inch touchscreen display that gives drivers access to their assortment of media options. This system includes Siri® Eyes Free, which includes some voice-recognition assistance with choosing contacts to call through the Bluetooth® connectivity.
The Nissan Versa interior includes the Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant, which sends your incoming text messages to the screen so you can stay connected at all times. As for entertainment, you can choose your favorite AM/FM radio station, your device connected to the USB or auxiliary input, or audio from your Bluetooth®-paired smartphone. The Nissan Versa also includes speed-sensitive volume control to prevent the engine noise from interfering with your listening.
Active & Passive Safety Features
The Nissan Versa has some helpful features included with the Anti-Lock Braking System to help you maintain control and avoid a possible collision. The Vehicle Dynamic Control System detects an instance of wheel slip and provides selective braking to ensure that the affected wheel regains traction and stability.
The Versa also includes some helpful collision protection. The exterior includes the Zone Body Construction with front and rear crumple zones, hood buckling creases, and pipe-style steel side-door guard beams. As for the interior, the Versa includes advanced front airbags, driver and front-passenger seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags, and roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor for front-and-rear-seat outboard occupants.
